For the last 2 decades, Maria Hawkins has been delivering arts-based programs and presentations in the community, in schools and to businesses (Conferences, Church Groups, Fairs, Festivals,etc).

Using music and laughter, the message is always upbeat and motivational. Maria can pull together a group to sing with her, or they may develop a skit, write a song, develop a visual or musical piece of artwork!

You can hire the full band or have Maria and an accompanist. (Optional: Guitar, Bass, Drum, Keyboard, Saxophone, Harmonica, Additional Vocal) We travel a little. Including North, South, East and West of Ottawa (Quebec, Toronto, Saskatchewan, British Columbia) to deliver our music to communities.

In schools, it is easy to develop a week long residency project where Maria and her accompanist are able to work individually with each class and teacher to deliver a unique session for that specific group. The preschool and kindergarten programs are usually interactive music presentations that feature costumes and energetic stories. School age children enjoy learning to sing different styles of music along with learning a little of the history/stories behind the songs. Young Adults laugh and sing together as they receive music and motivation together with their skill development.
